From install to in-game in a few steps
Install Project Zomboid on Steam and make sure you're on the B42 Stable branch matching the server.
Easiest fix for mismatches: unsubscribe from all Workshop mods, launch once, then join — the server will pull what it needs.
Official mod collectionIn-game: Join → Favorite servers → Add server, or paste the IP directly.
