A long-term PvE home in Knox Country — pure survival, player-shaped towns, and a community that sticks around.
Relentless Dawn started as a small circle of friends who wanted a Project Zomboid server that respected the core game: scarce resources, dangerous streets, and the quiet satisfaction of a base that lasts. It has grown into a full PvE community where every reclaimed town, every shared road, and every story comes from the players.
We keep the mod list lean — quality-of-life and performance only. No overpowered weapons, no systems that break the fantasy of the apocalypse. The sandbox is tuned for long-term play: 3× XP so skills feel rewarding, high zombie density so the world stays dangerous, and leaner loot so every find matters.
Staff stay active, wipes happen only when the build or balance truly needs a clean slate, and feedback from Discord shapes the next balance pass. Whether you play solo or with a crew, the goal is the same: a world worth logging into for hundreds of hours.

No player-versus-player combat. Griefing and sabotage are banned. Your progress is protected so you can focus on the dead, not other survivors.
Lean mods, fair loot tables, and sandbox settings that reward planning. We adjust with community feedback — never for short-term hype.
Solo-friendly, better with friends. Active Discord, events, and staff who actually play. Help is a ticket or a ping away.
Leadership sets the direction; admins and moderators keep the day-to-day healthy. Rules are short and enforced so the majority can enjoy a fair world.
Major changes — new mods, sandbox tweaks, wipe timing — are announced on the News page and in Discord before they go live whenever possible.
We prefer long seasons over constant resets. When a wipe is needed for a new build or a serious balance reset, we give clear notice and treat the next world as the real long-term one.
